About UVG

Our mission is to develop a large community of veterinary practices with the common goal of increasing the profitability of their clinics. We will lead the way in innovative techniques of sales and marketing within the vet profession.

We strive to correct the “problems in our industry” . These are largely, the poor profitability of veterinary practice, and the lack of unity and communication between veterinary practices. By addressing these issues, it would make veterinary practice an enviable profession to be in. It would also address the long term issue of a shortage of vets.

The UVG was originally formed by 6 clinics with the desire to reduce their drug bills, by acting as a collective. This was such a successful concept, that it grew quickly by word of mouth, to over 75 practices Australia wide.

The really powerful part of this concept, was vets sharing with each other, ideas which had been successful in their own businesses. This allows members to take these new ideas and implement them in their practices, without trial and error knowing that they have been proven to work. This saves a massive amount of waste in time and money, trialling new ideas.

The UVG is what the profession has been lacking. A community of vets supporting other vets in building successful businesses, with large profits and happy workplaces.
